Carlsson C25 to make exclusive debut at Geneva 2010
At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show 2010, Carlsson will premiere publicly its first own developed automobile, the Carlsson C25. Approved as a legal car manufacturer, the recent German-based, Mercedes tuner is ready to blow-up the Geneva crowd with its own developed Super-GT vehicle. This mean newcomer is aimed to provide maximum driving performance and entirely new styling yet high exclusiveness.
Fitted with an extremely potent six litre V12 Bi-Turbo power unit with estimated output of striking 753 horsepower (554 kW) and electronically limited torque of 1,150 Newton meters, the limited-edition concept sportscar is able to cover the classic 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 3.7 seconds flat before reaching a V-max of 352 km/h. The Carlsson C25 sports coupe will be manufactured in limited number of only 25 units world-wide. According to the new car manufacturer, each automobile will be as individual as its future owner.
The all-new C25 is distinguished by its self-reliant and unique design. Its long masculine front with powerful shoulders craves and wide air inlets finished in the well-known Carlsson trapezoid form provides the powerful engine unit with the necessary cool air. Moreover, the instant eye-catcher packs ultra-light and forged wheels 1/10 UL in dimensions 9,5x20-inch and 12x20-inch wrapped in high performance tyres in size 265/30 at the front and 325/25 at the rear axle. The elongated flat rear screen and the restrained tearing edge on the boot lit as well as the generously dimensioned double diffuser ensures the Super-GT with proper downforce. In addition to the aggressive stance, the engineers at Carlsson have equipped the limited C25 with an intelligent lowering system C-Tronic® SUSPENSION®, which automatically recognizes the road characteristics and driving manners and constantly adjusts the suspension setting accordingly.
Offering matchless driving pleasure and absolute exclusiveness, the Carlsson C25 covers all security-relevant regulations such as pedestrian protection, crash behavior, ESP, ABS and Airbag systems.
