Seat Ibiza ST with Geneva premiere
Seat Ibiza ST will introduce itself publicly at the upcoming Geneva Motorshow 2010. This is the third model announced by the Spanish automobile company for its 2010 model year line-up. The new compact estate car is a pure collaboration between the well-known, all-rounded Ibiza styling and the demanded load capacity for a sporty and mobile lifestyle.
Benefiting from the brand's evolving styling, the Ibiza ST renders youthful and sporty character distinguished by precise body proportions, sleek front end with "arrow design" and re-engineered split rear light clusters. With a length of 4.23 metres, the newcomer is no less than 18 centimetres longer than the Ibiza. This ensures roomy cargo area ready to satisfy all the requirements of the active lifestyle. The base capacity of the car tops the generous 430-litres and allows further increase by folding the rear seats. On the inside, the Seat specialists have designed an impressively spacious vehicle with an accomplished and high quality character. Mirroring the striking exterior styling line, the cockpit packs remarkable detailing, smart functionality and superb craftsmanship. Among the interior highlights are newly designed circular air vents and a short gear stick.
The all-new ST model will be offered with a choice of three petrol and three TDI powerplants with common-rail injection. Four of the six units are boosted with direct injection and turbocharging. They span an output range of between 70- to 105-horepower.
The 2010 Seat Ibiza ST market launch is scheduled for the early summer of 2010.
