Ford uncovers 2011 Flex Titanium edition
Ford has released a new exclusively-packed edition of its stylish full-size crossover vehicle Ford Flex, which carries the name 2011 Ford Flex Titanium. Already two years on the market, the Flex was born from the Fairlane concept and immediately won the customer's love. Now, the new special edition brings more style and detailing to the table and aims to seduce the brand's customers who are searching for more unique and personalized experience.
Kate Pearce, Ford Flex Marketing Manager shares: "As we look at the reasons people have been buying Flex, there are some very consistent themes running through the research and the main one is style. Flex customers are attracted to the vehicle as one that reflects their personality and allows them to stand out from the crowd. With the Flex Titanium, we are responding to our customers with a vehicle that reflects the unique positioning of Flex in the marketplace."
The astonishing newcomer is based upon the Flex Limited series and spotlights new exterior and interior detailing as well as new features. For its external styling, the Titanium edition will be offered in four different paint finishes including: Red Candy, White Platinum, Tuxedo Black and Ingot Silver. All eye-catching body-shades will be contrasted by a new Tuxedo Black two-tone roof as well as blackout treatment on the headlamps and taillamps. At the front end, the new addition also sports unique black chrome grille with "Flex" badging, inspired directly from some of the custom-styled Flex rides displayed at the 2008 and 2009 editions of SEMA show in Las Vegas. Other special elements include: blackened beltline moldings, fog lamp bezels and side-view mirror skull caps as well as sleek polished aluminum 20-inch 10-spoke design rims.
Inside the cabin, the 2011 Flex Titanium boasts ultra-premium feeling underlined by clearness and spaciousness. It renders new charcoal black leather-trimmed seats with gray Alcantara suede inserts, circle check appliques on instrument panel and doors, painted alloy metallic finish on center stack and door panels, a perforated leather steering wheel and illuminated scuff plates.
In addition to the visual goodies, the car renders number of feature add-ons, including HD Radio and one-touch PowerFold and tumble third row options.
