2011 Hyundai Equus is priced from $58 000 (€41 980) and hits the market in December.

The car is direct rival to the most luxurious on the market - Lexus LS 460L - $70 925, BMW 750Li - $86 400 and Mercedes S550 - $91 600. As you can see, the price of Equus is a lot lower than the competition.

The standard equipment of Equus features leather upholstery, an Alcantara headliner, a massaging driver seat, heated and cooled front seats, a heated steering wheel, wood trim, a glass sunroof, power reclining / heated rear seats, and power rear sunshades.

If this is not enough, you can order the Ultimate package for just $6 500 (€4 700), which adds individual rear seats, a rear passenger-side seat massage system, cooled rear seats, a rear-seat entertainment system (with an eight-inch monitor), a rear center console refrigerator, and a power trunk lid.

Furthermore, both models come standard with Smart Cruise Control, passive entry, GPS navigation, a 600 WATT Lexicon 7.1 Discrete surround-sound system, XM Satellite Radio, iPod/USB/Bluetooth connectivity, and an Apple iPad which doubles as an owner's manual.

2011 Hyundai Equus is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 with 385 hp (287 kW) and 451 Nm (333 lb-ft). The engine is mated to a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission. The performance is not bad at all - 0 to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds, so Equus is as fast as the competition.

According to us, 2011 Hyundai Equus is going to be a great car, which offers perfect value for money. The luxury is at very high level, so the car cannot be underestimated. The engine is proper, too and the price is just perfect.
