Opel released more details for one of the best selling models on the market – Astra. The latest model 2011 Opel Astra Sports Tourer is specially created to fulfill the needs of the young families,
It features nice style, a little aggressiveness and of course – practicality. The interior is spacious and boasts good quality materials in a symmetrical dashboard, a sporty steering wheel, FlexFold rear seats, which fold at a touch of a button, and a luggage capacity of 1 550 liters. The option list features ergonomic front seats, a 315-watt Infinity sound system, and GPS navigation. Not bad for an Astra?
The engine range features a 1.4-liter with 100PS (74kW), ), a turbocharged 1.4-liter with 120PS (88kW) and 140PS (103kW), a 1.6 liter with 115PS and top-of-range a turbocharged 1.6-liter with 180PS (132kW).
The diesel variants a 1.7 liter with 110PS (81kW) and 125PS (92kW), and a 2.0 liter with 160PS (118kW). Last is the little 1.3 liter CDTI with 95PS (70kW) and 190Nm of torque. It achieves 57.4mpg (4.1 l / 100km) and emissions as low as 109 g/km. Of course the economy has a price and it is incredible slow acceleration – 14.9 seconds to 100km/h and max speed of 172 km/h.
The car will be available to buy in November this year.
