2012 Mercedes C63 AMG

2012 Mercedes C63 AMG will feature a new aggressive front fascia, revised headlights, LED fog lights and a new grille. The facelift at the rear includes a modified bumper and revised tail lights.

There are no pictures of the interior, but we have no doubts that Mercedes will bet on high quality materials, sport seats and an AMG steering wheel.

The engine is the well known 6.2 liter naturally aspirated V8 with 457PS (336 kW) and 600Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. The power unit is mated to a 7-speed SpeedShift MCT transmission. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes only 4.5 seconds and the fuel consumption is 12.0 L/100 km (19.6mpg), which is not bad at all for sports saloon car. The estate is slightly slower - 4.6 seconds to 100 km/h and 12.3 L/100km.

The special AMG Performance Package boosts the engine to 488PS (359 kW) and the torque is the same 600Nm (443 lb-ft).
