Lancia has announced the new Elefantino trim level for the small Ypsilon. The high-grade equipment level will be priced from just €10,450.

It includes new door mirror covers, with body-colored door handles and original-colored wheel hub caps. The exterior is available in one of the following colors: Sabbia Beige, Neve White , Pietra Grey, Turquoise, Aurora Purple and Turquoise/Vulcano Black two-tone – all of them matched to a glossy black tailgate

The interior boasts a leather steering wheel and gear knob, black fabric seats with fuchsia stitching and chrome finishes for the dashboard.

Standard equipment includes door opening remote control, leather gear knob and steering wheel (height and depth-adjustable), electric front windows, 50/50 split rear seat, height-adjustable driver seat, 15" steel wheels and interiors in technical fabric with fitted electro-welded seams. Climate control system and radio with CD-MP3 player complete the content line-up:  both items are included in the commercial offer and are totally free of charge. In terms of safety, ABS with EBD, front and side airbags, and also the Isofix attachments.

The engine range features a 1.2 liter petrol with 69HP (51 kW) as well as the 0.9 liter Turbo TwinAir with 85HP (62 kW). The 1.3 liter MultiJet diesel has 95HP (70 kW). Other economical variants are a 1.2 liter engine on LPG or a 0.9-liter Turbo TwinAir Methane with 80HP, which costs a lot - €16,500.
