Suzuki has announced the new Swift Sport SZ-R Limited Edition in the United Kingdom. There will be just 100 units of this Special Edition Swift.

Each SZ-R is finished in Cosmic Black with contrasting Ablaze Red roof, rear spoiler and door mirrors plus SZ-R side badging.

The interior features uniquely numbered door sill guards, red accented gear shift knob and red trimmed carpet mats.

Swift Sport offers a high level of equipment as standard including seven airbags, auto air conditioning, cruise control, Bluetooth connectivity and USB port, rear privacy glass and 17-inch wheels. HID Projector headlamps for low and high beam are also fitted as standard. This safety feature is often listed as a cost option by its direct competitors as well as on much more expensive cars.

The engine is a 1.6 liter petrol with 136HP (100 kW) and 160Nm (118 lb-ft) of torque. 0-100 km/h in 8.7 seconds and a top speed of 195 km/h (121 mph). It averages 44.1 mpg UK – 6.4 liters / 100 km.

2013 Suzuki Swift Sport SZ-R will hit the market on March 1st with pricing starting from £14,249 which is just £500 more than a normal model.
