Ford has officially unveiled the 2015 Expedition Ecoboost V6, which will make its official debut at the 2014 DFW Auto Show in Texas, US. The big SUV is expected to hit the market later this year. It comes with revised exterior and interior as well as a new super-efficient engine.

The exterior features new front fascia with a revised grille and new headlights. There are also chrome exhaust tips, new wheel designs and a redesigned tailgate. Last, but not least are the optional LED fog lamps. There are two models available – a standard one with 3,022mm (119") wheelbase and an Expedition EL with 3,327mm (131") wheelbase delivering superb comfort.

The interior boasts a new center stack and a revised instrument cluster with two LCD displays. There is also an bient LED lighting, Intelligent Access, a ten-speaker Sony premium audio system and a MyFord Touch infotainment system. The top-of-range Platinum trim level boasts leather seats, fresh and sophisticated colors and material finishes.

The new engine is a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 gasoline – 375HP (276 kW) and 582Nm (430 lb-ft) of torque. It will be paired with a 6-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.

Last, but not least the 2015 Expedition comes with a new electric power-assisted steering system as well as continuously controlled damping system with three different modes: comfort, normal and sport (available as an option).
