Next-Gen 2016 Cadillac CTS-V Will be Launched This Fall

Cadillac announced that it starts taking orders for the latest next-gen 2016 CTS-V from today. The high-performance 649 hp (477kW) vehicle is expected to be launched in fall. In fact, this is the second of two models to come in market in 2015, after the ATS-V coupe and sedan.

THe 2016 V-Series lineup demonstrates incredible expansion of brand's elite hihgh-performance vehicles. And now the latest vehicles will not only demonstrate performance wonders and pleasure of driving, but also will offer wider area of customizable features.

The 2016 CTS-V has a top speed of 320 km/h (177 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds. Furthermore, this is one of the most powerful models in Cadillac's 112-year history .

Segment-exclusive, latest generation Magnetic Ride Control, one of the best in the world suspension technologies are only part of the standard pack for the 2016 CTS-V. Of course, the machine includes numerous carbon-fiber elements, 19-inch wheels and selectable modes.

The machine is geared with a 6.2-Liter supercharged V8 engine, that is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, that offers and a special manual mode, via the special steering wheel paddles. The drivetrain system delivers the crushing 855 Nm.
