2016 Lexus RX Comes With Style, Flexibility and Utility
Since its launch in 1998, Lexus RX lineup has proven itself as flexible and reliable partner. The luxury sedan now comes with a mix of sharp creases and curves and represents a bold evolution in RX's history. Furthermore, this is one of the best-selling luxury crossovers and now it features hybrid and gasoline engines, enhanced safety features and numerous more driver-oriented gadgets.
Exterior and Interior
The front of the new RX shows a special signature spindle grille, chrome-plated border and L-shape-LED headlamps. Furthermore, the spindle design theme of the front also defines its rear appearance, providing a high level of aesthetics and details. For example, the LED rear combination L-shaped taillights envelope the tailgate which contributes for that powerful and somehow massive stance. Other additions to the latest RX model are the flush-fitting headlight washers, panoramic moonroof design, solid roof rails, SmartAccess door handles and convenient door handle illumination. And there is one more interesting addition. The vehicle comes with special scratch-resistant self-restoring paint which uses high-performance macromolecular polymer. How cool is that?

The interior also reflects the balance of functionality and opulence. Everything looks nice and build with precision and it even gets better with the additional interior trims. These add-ons indeed are: Matte Bamboo, Espresso Walnut, Matte Linear Dark Mocha Wood, Striated Black Trim or Gray Sapele Wood with Aluminum. Furthermore, the vehicle comes and with additional interior space and enhanced comfort for both passengers and driver.
Drivetrain system
The latest Lexus RX comes with two engine types:
RX 350: this is a 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 gasoline unit, mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. it provides a total of 295 hp (216 kW) at 6,300 rpm with 267 lb.-ft of torque at 4,700 rpm
RX 450h hybrid: a 3.5-liter direct-injected V6 gasoline unit with a revised hybrid powertrain componentry. It generates output of 308 hp (226 kW) at 6,000 with 247 lb.-ft of torque at 4,600 rpm. This is the latest and most advanced Lexus engine, paired with Lexus Hybrid Drive system. The key components and control systems have been enhanced and restyled just to improve the overall fuel economy, emissions and to bring even smoother drive.
AWD Systems
FOr RX 350 AWD, Dynamic Torque Control AWD has been incorporated, along with numerous sensors for even more precise tractability and flexibility on different surfaces and situations.
There is also an additional feature for the latest RX, both for hybrid and gas modes, and it is indeed the torque distribution levels at the front and rear of the vehicle, as well as the Multi-Information Display System
