The Lion badged marque – Peugeot – is revealing its latest concept vehicle, the "5 by Peugeot". The stunning concept ride is showcasing the brand's changing design DNA and future ambitions in the large luxury saloon car segment. Boasting extremely sophisticated styling blended with smooth and clean flowing lines, the "5 by Peugeot" represents a stellar and modern design concept. The future luxury car also packs the Peugeot's HYbrid4 powertrain technology, which takes the driving plasure and environmental protection to a whole new level - 200 horsepower, four-wheel drive and CO2 emissions of 99 g/km or zero in electric mode.

At the front, the elegant saloon highlights expressive front grille design combined with amazingly sleek headlamps and LED lights. The newly refined Lion badge naturally takes pride of place in a specially shaped area at the front of the long aluminium bonnet. The sides of the car benefit from high-end, brushed-aluminium window surrounds and door handles and striking 19-inch multi-spoke design alloy wheels. The rear end suggests both style and sporty performance. Distinguished by three separate linked light clusters, the rear lights renders bold vision and further provides a link back to some of the brand's historic models. The innovative powertrain features two power units: a 2.0 litre HDi FAP 163 hp diesel engine is placed at the front of the future luxury saloon and a 37 hp electric motor is mounted at the rear. In combination, the vehicle delivers fuel consumption and emissions of 74.3 mpg and 99 g/km of CO2 or zero in electric mode.
