Audi is investing €100 million in new bodyshop for Audi A3
Audi AG continues to invest large sums for facilities. After the Training Center in Neckarsulm, Germany, which will provide better repair services by improving the skills of the technicians the company is going to invest €100 million in new bodyshop for Audi A3.
The construction project will start in late October. The bodyshop will encompass around 40,000 square meters. Board Member for Production Frank Dreves: "The Audi A3 is one of the most coveted models in Audi's portfolio of products. The new body-manufacturing shop will pave the way for the continued success of this model."
The first version of A3 - 8L was launched in 1996 and it was produced until 2004, when the new model came out - Audi A3 - 8P. ver two million units of the Audi A3 have been produced at the Ingolstadt plant since 1996. This model line is one of the greatest success stories in the history of Audi.
