BRABUS S 350 BlueTEC meets the EURO VI standard
Brabus, the German tuner renowned for its extremely powerful and well looking Mercedes conversions has unveiled the world's first tuned ride that fully complies with the new EURO VI emission standard. Fitted with the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance pack, the Mercedes S 350 BlueTEC produces the amazing 313 horsepower (230 kW) at a low 3,600 revolutions and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of peak torque.
In emission testing, the Brabus conversion not only has covered the EURO VI requirements, but further recorded figures 30 per cent below the estimated minimum.
The BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S performance kit is available for all four body styles of the Mercedes E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY model and for the new CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY.
Brabus' show model – the Mercedes-Benz S 350 BlueTEC is one of the first diesel-powered cars on the market that meets the strict standard. For its V6 turbodiesel plant, the experts at Brabus have developed the BRABUS ECO PowerXtra D6S module, which represents a plug-and-play device integrated into the CAN data bus of the luxury sedan. Its mapping was adapted specifically to the eco-friendly BlueTEC concept that uses AdBlue® SCR technology.
Boasting the new Brabus modeule, the boosted S 350 accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds flat, half a second faster than the production car. Top speed is limited electronically to 250 km/h (155 mph).
