The ultimate trucks - Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 are now available witha crew-size cab model. The innovations for the big trucks don't stop here, there are new features , along with new standards of strength, utility and driveability.Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 are specially designed to be the leaders in this class. The trucks are offered with enormous 6.7 liter V8 turbo diesel developing 350hp and 881Nm of toque, enough to tow even a small house. Despite the huge displacement, this diesel engine from newest generation meets all 50-state emission requirements. There is also a 5.7 liter Hemi V8 with 383hp and 542Nm of torque, which features variable-valve timing for greater efficiency and performance.

2010 Dodge Ram has greatly improved ride compared to the previous generations due to re-tuned suspension components. The new C-pillar system with fluid-filled hydro mounts improves driving dynamics.

As we mentioned that Dodge Ram 3500 with diesel engine can tow a house, we didn't joke. The maximum towing capability of the truck is 17,600 pounds (8 tons) and a maximum payload of 5,150lb. (2,3 tons). Ram 3500 has dual rear wheels and 4.10 rear axle, which helps it to achieve the numbers above.

Besides the utility of the vehicle, the engineers took care about the interior by building in Class IVreceiver standard on all Ram Heavy Duty models. The big trucks also get premium front seats with heat and ventilation; heated rear seats; heated steering wheel; automatic temperature control; two-tone upholstery; memory seats, radio and mirrors; navigation; adjustable pedals and numerous infotainment options, including SIRIUS Backseat TV™ with three channels of programming, Uconnect Multimedia with a 30-gigabyte hard drive and an available first-in-segment 10-speaker surround-sound system. There are also a lot of storage options, including in-floor storage.

2010 Ram is offered in three cab styles - a regular cab, crew-size cab and Mega Cab. There are also two cargo-box sizes (6 feet 4 inches and 8 feet), and on the top of this a single and dual-rear-wheel configurations.

The trim levels are five - ST, SLT, TRX, Laramie and Power Wagon. Besides them the exterior has styling differences between light-duty and heavy-duty models.

The Dodge Ram Heavy Duty will be available in U.S. dealerships in the first quarter of 2010.
