G-POWER goes bolder with the all-new X5 M TYPHOON
The specialists at G-POWER have already amazed us once with the presentation of its bold "small" TYPHOON body kit, but now they have pulled off the curtain on something even wider and bigger – the "big" TYPHOON body kit for the BMW X5 M. Optimized to deliver 15 per cent more cooling and air flow, the all-new wide ‘dress' also enables G-POWER to take the ride's 4.4-liter V8 bi-turbo engine to new performance heights - 725 horsepower / 533 kW at 6,000 rpm (+ 170 horsepower / 125 kW) and 890 Nm at 1,500 rpm (+ 210 Nm). Thanks to the new output rates, the G-POWER X5 M TYPHOON is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in only 4.2 seconds, before reaching its top speed at over 300 km/h.
Designed via a state-of-the-art CAD technology and a 3D scanner, the stunningly bold kit of the highly-enhanced Bavarian luxury crossover spotlights muscular wheel arches and side skirts, smart-shaped front and rear spoilers, as well as a rear diffuser and LED units on both sides. Moreover, an extra sporty flavor is achieved through the sleek 23-inch G-POWER SILVERSTONE RS forged alloys wrapped with 315/25 ZR 23 high-performance Michelin tires, and the sports suspension with 30 mm lowering.
Inside the cockpit, G-POWER has also made few skillful improvements, including: an ergonomically shaped sports steering wheel, new speedometer, carbon-made trim on the side panels, centre console and dashboard.
The Price tag of the mighty G-POWER TYPHOON aerodynamic kit starts at 12.185 Euro incl. installation. The 23-inch G-POWER SILVERSTONE RS or EDITION wheel set in combination with MICHELIN tires is priced at 8,865 Euro, while the 725 hp performance upgrade including the exhaust unit and modified turbocharger costs 18,000 Euro.
