Lexus CT 200h will be put on sale early next year. The hybrid hatchback is expected to be one of the best selling cars on the market boasting nice styling, a sports roof-mounted spoiler, 17" alloys and LED headlights.

The interior features 8" LCD display, metallic accents and some nice materials. In true ECO spirit, Lexus equipped the car with installed "bamboo charcoal-based resin diaphragm speakers" and bioplastic dashboard components.

It is powered by 98hp (73kW) 1.8 liter VVT-i petrol and additioanal 80hp (60kW) electric motor. The overall power is 134hp, which allows CT 200h to return 42mpg and to accelerate from 0 to 60mph in 9.8 seconds. The top speed is satisfying – 180 km/h (112mph).

Lexus CT 200h has a very useful four-mode drive selection switch, which allows you to choose between maximum performance (in our case) and maximum efficiency. Sport mode reduces the stability control and traction control, while Eco mode reduces throttle inputs and the air conditioner. Normal mode is allows you to travel up to one mile without any harmful emissions at speeds up to 45 km/h.
