Everybody knows that tuning is made with money, and the more you have, the better car you can create. This rule is almost always in force, especially, when the tuner has good taste and some knowledge.

David Huang invested over $100,000 to create the ultimate Lexus IS 1000, which is base on IS 300. The most important feature of his car is the 1,000hp engine. The car also got custom color-shift Midnight Purple paint, custom body and frame work and custom suspension. The interior is entirely changed, too.

Most of the parts come from JDM tuning like the huge 20" JDM Work VS-XX anodized-chrome wheels fitted with BF Goodrich KDW/TA performance tires. The suspension came from the same tuning company - JDM Zeal Function X's adjustable coilovers. The car has also installed JDM HKS purple sway bars and Kansai rear strut tower bar to improve the grip and performance.

With one thousand horse powers under the bonnet, this Lexus must have good stopping system. It again comes from JDM and includes big rotors and calipers.
