Rossin Bertin Vorax - M5 engine and 1300kg
Rossin-Bertin Vorax sounds like... Actually, it sounds like a science fiction and it IS! The vehicles is a combination between Nissan Juke and Mazda RX-8. The Vorax features a carbon fibre body and aluminium chassis as you may suggest for extra strength and lightweight. It is supposed to weigh just 1.3 tonne (2 866 lbs).
The "thing" is powered by 5.0 liter V10 from BMW M5 with 570hp. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is covered in 3.8 seconds and the top speed is 330km/h. However, the company plans to release a 750hp supercharged version with 3.6 seconds to 100 km/h and Vmax of 372 km/h. The results look extremely similar to the Hurricane's.
The production of Vorax coupe will start in 2011 and the price is around $409 000.
