AC Schnitzer, the famous BMW vehicles tuning company from Germany has released its latest custom project, the AC Schnitzer X1. The retrofitted ride will make its grand debut at the forthcoming auto occasion in Geneva, Switzerland.

At the German occasion Essen Motor Show 2009, the Association of German Car Tuners (VDAT) in co-operation with BMW AG and AC Schnitzer will debut its fifth concept car for the "TUNE IT! SAFE!“ initiative, which is also supported by the Police and the Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Road Development.

Here are some facts for the tuned Z4:
The original 3 litre bi-turbo petrol engine is boosted to 360hp (from the original 306). The top speed is 286km/h and the classic discipline from stand still to 100km/h is achieved in 4.9 seconds.
AC Shnitzer also added stainless steel sports rear silencer and the chromed Racing tailpipe trims and the sound is fantastic.
The suspension is improved by a new spring kit, which provides better handling.
