Hennessey has just published an exclusive video footage of its Hennessey ZR750 Corvette ZR1, showcasing the ride’s staggering, world-class, super sports car performance.
As the name of the HPE’s treatment program hints, the tweaked Corvette ZR1 now boasts the mind-boggling 750 horsepower at 6,600 revolutions and 728 lb-ft of peak torque at 4,700 rpm, which catapults this pure “American rocket” from standstill to 60 mph in 2.9 sec flat, on a way to a top speed of 224 mph.
Hennessey Performance has published images of its ultra-fast beast – 2011 Venom GT finished in passionate red body color. Representing Chassis Number 03 from the limited model, the “Venom Red” supercar is caught while driving wild in the streets of Silverstone, England.

Hennessey Venom GT is powered by 6.2 liter LS9 V8 taken from a Corvette ZR1, but boosted to the whopping 1200HP. The weight of the car is just 1 071 kg, so it has more horsepower than kilograms.
The engine is mated to a Ricardo 6-speed gearbox and the performance is more than satisfying. 0 to 60 mph in 2.2 seconds and the tops speed is officially rated at 421 km/h (262 mph). The price is nice, too - 600 000 USD.
The company will build just 10 units per year.

Hennessey offers a tuned Camaros from 600bhp to the staggering 1000bhp. However, in the video you can enjoy the least powerful supercharged 2010 Camaro SS HPE600 with 602bhp (449kW) and 806 Nm (595 lb-ft) of torque.
We would love too some burning of rubber, but the clip offers a view from a drivers seat, which is not bad, at all.
