The famous Texas specialist Hennessey Performance Engineering has released the first official image of its head turning, Elise-based supercar Hennessey Venom GT. Scheduled to make its grand premiere on March 30th, the speedy dream vehicle will be offered with three different power outputs - 725 horsepower, 1,000 horsepower and 1,200 horsepower.

Under the hood of the ultra high-performance Venom GT, the engineers at Hennessey has mounted a highly modified 6.2-liter LS9 V8 powerplant from Corvette ZR1, which in cooperation with the vehicle's remarkably light body structure (1100 kg) is capable to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in only 2.2 seconds before reaching a V-max of 272 mph.

Another interesting fact around the ride is its price tag, which will starts at 600,000 USD.
