MINI with fascinating range at NAIAS 2010
At the 2010 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, MINI will exhibit a thrilling range of models, which are set to prove that the joy of motoring has a future. One of the fascinating and versatile little cars is the four-seater MINI Beachcomber Concept, radically open body vehicle that combines maximum driving pleasure and great emotional experience.
The all-wheel drive MINI Beachcomber Concept is designed without doors, conventional roof and all other body elements which might possibly limit the contact – occupants-surrounding world, yet soft roof and lightweight doors are available. The concept car's robust vision is underlined by a set of extra-large light-alloy wheels, special body elements and generous springs. It symbolises the brand's significant values in new and more radical style.
Among the highlights in the MINI booth at NAIAS will be also the ultra-clean and efficient MINI E, which represents the potential of the pure all-electric motoring free of CO2 emissions.
Over and above the future models, MINI has prepared the MINI Clubman, and the new MINI Convertible for the forthcoming occasion.
With its smartly designed, versatile and up-to-date range of models, MINI is continuing its successful initiative in the US car market. Also because the USA remains the world's single largest market for MINI, the brand will continue to consistently expand its dealership network in the USA in 2010.
